The Ordering Process

When do I need to place an order?

We normally ask for a minimum of 48 hours (2 days) advance notice (if payment is by COD). For example, if you need the cake to be delivered on a Friday morning, you would need to place your order by Wednesday morning (48 hours before).

However, if you are paying via a bank deposit we would appreciate it if you place the order 3 days in advance. Once you have placed the order kindly also deposit the payment on the very same day you placed the order.

In any circumstances, please be assured of our commitment to you that is the cakes are prepared as close as possible to the delivery date in order to retain their quality and freshness.

How do I place an order?

You can place an order either by phone or email.

Once you have placed an order either by phone or by internet, a transaction number will be assigned to your order. We suggest keeping the transaction number for references purposes in case that need arises.

For phone orders, kindly call 1-868-325-0482, Mondays to Saturdays (9am-5pm). Sunday and public holidays are rest days.

Cancellation

The Change / Cancellation Process

How do I change or cancel an order after it has been confirmed?

Just phone or e-mail us and quote the transaction number of your original order. We'll change or cancel it without any penalty if the cancellation is done not less than 24 hours (1 day) before delivery date. Changes or cancellations less than 24 hour's (1 day) notice would be subjected to a penalty of 50% of the order price. Please bear in mind we only entertain changes or cancellations from Mondays to Saturdays (not Sundays).

How do I pay for an order?

Delivery locations and related charges

We deliver to most parts of Trinidad. We will deliver right to your doorstep residential areas. In the case of office addresses, we would appreciate it if you, our valued customer, could kindly receive deliveries at the main entrance/drop-off point of the building. This is necessitated by the high parking costs and limited parking spaces in office buildings and other commercial areas. We're happy to bring it right to your office doorstep but that would necessitate charging extra for the parking costs - which we feel is an unnecessary cost to you.

Generally, delivery charges are negotiated based on several factors, including distance, complexities in transporting the order, time of the day and day of the week. For example, an order of 10 small cakes to be delivered to the same address cost less to delivery than a large wedding cake. Also night time and public holidays delivery will also cost extra.

Kindly note there may be pockets of exceptions where we don't do deliveries. Please enquire when you place an order or call us to in case of doubts.

Delivery times

We deliver 6 days a week from 11am to 5pm (Note : No deliveries on Sundays). We normally pre-inform our customers (by phone) on the estimated delivery time so they're available to take delivery of the cakes personally. Unfortunately we are unable to ascertain the exact timing so if you need a specific time for delivery, please contact us beforehand.

We will do everything possible to ensure your order arrives on time but we cannot accept liability for any late deliveries, damage or returns if no one is available to accept the delivery. Hence please ensure that your delivery instructions to us are accurate. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or last-minute emergencies etc whereby nobody is available to take delivery, we will phone you to ask further instructions. Our suggestion would be to have the order routed to a neighbour or left in a safe place with someone specified by you.

We hope the following does not happen but its common nowadays to find delays caused by adverse weather conditions, road closures, massive traffic jams etc. All these undesired events could prevent the timely completion of your specified delivery date/time. We will contact you by phone and reserve the right for re-scheduling the delivery arrangement in these instances. Alternatively, where possible, we suggest you choose a delivery date at least one day prior to the date required to avoid any disappointment.

Can I collect my cake from you?

Yes you can. Please call 1-868-325-0482 to arrange to pick up your order.
